2025 Krämer APX-350 MA

The Spec-bike for the MotoAmerica Talent Cup

MSRP: $22,495 - For Competition Use Only

Krämer Motorcycles is proud to announce the launch of its new APX line of motorcycles, aimed at the small-displacement category of motorcycle racing. The first model from this new lineup is the 2025 Krämer APX-350 MA race bike, which brings grand prix performance for a fraction of the cost. We are also honored to say that the Krämer APX-350 MA will hone the skills of America’s top young racers as the spec-bike in the new MotoAmerica Talent Cup.

The Krämer APX-350 MA is built around a true racing chassis that is fully adjustable and features premium components. Its 350cc single-cylinder engine comes from the KTM XC-F and makes over 50hp. Fueled up and ready to race, the Krämer APX-350 MA weighs under 255 lbs. Advanced electronics come in the form of a Mectronik MKE5 race ECU, with an oversized throttle body and ride-by-wire throttle control system that has been developed in-house at Krämer.

Available February 2025, pricing for the Krämer APX-350 MA is set at $22,495. Units imported for the 2025 season will be limited, and priority will be given to MotoAmerica Talent Cup entrants on a first-come first-served basis. We encourage interested race teams to reserve their allocation as soon as possible.

Chassis: At the heart of the Krämer APX-350 MA is a chromium-molybdenum steel trellis frame that has been tuned for the ideal flex and feedback necessary for road racing. The chassis design has the ability to be adjusted at the headstock angle, fork offset, swingarm angle, seat height, rearset height, and handlebar angle, making it ideal for different riding styles and riders of differing sizes.

Fuel Cell: Built from cross-linked polyethylene, the 12-liter fuel cell is created using a rotational molding process, which results in a lightweight and durable design. A staple of Krämer ingenuity, a cutout is made in the fuel cell for easy access to suspension settings on the rear shock — one of many race-focused designs on the APX platform.

Engine: The Krämer APX-350 MA features a 350cc single-cylinder engine from the KTM platform. Mated to a giant airbox that has been optimized for maximum airflow to an oversized throttle body, peak power for the APX-350 MA will be class-leading and in excess of 50hp. This power will be transmitted through a six-speed gearbox.

Ride-by-Wire: Throttle control on the APX-350 MA is fully digital, with a ride-by-wire system developed in-house by Krämer Motorcycles in cooperation with Mectronik. This allows for robust engine braking control parameters, as well as precise ignition control for the up/down quickshifter.

Race ECU: The Krämer APX-350 MA features the Mectronik MKE5 race ECU, which should be a familiar sight for any hardcore race team. The APX-350 MA will ship with an engine calibration for VP Racing’s MGP-R Reg fuel (the spec fuel of MotoAmerica).

Data Ready: Owing to its race-built design, the Krämer APX-350 MA comes pre-wired for potentiometers that can be installed on the front and rear suspension. The dash also doubles as a data-logger, and features an integrated lap timer.

Components: The Krämer APX-350 MA will come with premium components from WP Suspension for the forks and shock, a single front disk setup with a Brembo Stylema caliper, and Dunlop race slicks on lightweight 17” wheels.

Bodywork: The fiberglass bodywork on the APX-350 MA is extremely lightweight, but does not sacrifice durability. All mounting and high-stress points are reinforced with a carbon/aramid fiber composite. The front air intake is designed to help the engine breathe efficiently all the way to max revs.

2023 Krämer HKR Evo2 S

An affordable, race ready, production motorcycle.

Pricing: $15,995 - For Competition Use Only

The Krämer HKR Evo2 S comes standard with everything you need to be competitive on the track. The S spec features an 80hp KTM 690cc LC4, race-focused chassis, tunable suspension, selectable engine mapping, and advanced braking systems.

Frame: The chromium-molybdenum steel frame at the core of the Krämer HKR Evo2 S is responsible for the handling and durability of these motorcycles. This superior material outperforms aluminum, and is much less susceptible to cracking or breaking under the stresses of racing. The unique trellis design provides great stiffness, yet flexes where it is needed, and gives the rider unmatched feedback.

Tail section: The tail section of the Evo2 is made of XPE plastic and works to support the rider and house 3.17 gallons of fuel. This multi-use approach reduces weight and makes for a more compact package.

Body work: The fiberglass body work on the HKR Evo2 is extremely lightweight, but does not sacrifice durability. All mounting and high-stress points are reinforced with carbon Kevlar. And by replacing the traditional gas tank with the airbox, the bike’s overall weight is reduced, with the center of gravity optimized for the track.

Suspension: The front suspension has 43mm WP forks, and features adjustable compression and rebound damping. The rear has a WP shock absorber with KMC link system with adjustable ride height. When combined with a very stiff, all-aluminum swing arm, the result is a very tunable and predictable setup for dialing in your Krämer HKR Evo2.

Brakes: Both the S and R model are fitted with Brembo front brakes. The S is fitted with a single 320mm rotor and single Brembo caliper up front, and a 220mm Motomaster rotor and Formula caliper at the rear.

Engine: Sourced from Austria, the KTM LC4 690 engine is built with a high-flow cylinder head, ultralight piston, and high-strength connecting rod, which is fed through a high-flow intake system designed and built by Krämer Motorcycles. As a result, the power band is a thousand rpm wider over a standard LC4 motor, and provides an even more uniform power delivery, especially in the mid to high rev range.

Balance Shaft: The 2022 Krämer HKR Evo2 S uses the latest LC4 engine generation, which boasts a bonus balancer shaft that reduces the annoying vibrations typically present in large thumpers.
